Cuando se habla del teatro físico o de aquellas puestas en escena sobrias, pero ambiciosas, se suele conminar al espectador a recurrir a su mente y utilizar la imaginación para crear el mundo que se quiere mostrar.
En este reestreno de la compañía Factoría Teatro, quienes se encuentran presentando la laureada “Sinfonía”, pasa todo lo contrario, pues si bien no hay escenografía alguna más que un cortinaje, es posible ver pasillos de gárgolas, laboratorios científicos, pomposas fiestas y al mismo diablo en persona.
Para ello se requiere no sólo de un gran talento por parte de los actores, sino también de una coordinación milimétrica, pues ellos realizan cambios de escena, distintas perspectivas del mismo instante y el espectador se traslada efectivamente al mundo del Fausto de Goethe y al de la Máscara roja de la muerte, de Edgar Allan Poe.
Son versiones libres que apelan a lo que el actor es capaz de hacer. Y si el actor logra todo lo descrito, sin duda que estamos hablando de un montaje de calidad, que ha sido distinguido por dos públicos bastante exigentes, como son el español y el argentino, en diversos festivales.
El formato de la historia apela al cuento y nos enfrentamos a un narrador que va cambiando de rostro y que describe la personalidad cruel de un rey que intenta salvarse de la muerte a costa del padecimiento de su pueblo; para luego dar paso a la historia del científico que en su afán por conocerlo todo, terminó en manos de Lucifer.
Hay en “Sinfonía” un uso preciso de lo grotesco, de la belleza en lo no tradicional, de lo esperpéntico; y es eso lo que puede resultar atractivo para el público más joven, conformado por los adolescentes y los niños no tan pequeños.
En la búsqueda por formar nuevas audiencias, esta obra tiene excelentes elementos para cautivar a todos por igual, pues con dosis de humor y una visualidad increíble, que sorprende porque estamos hablando del teatro del vacío, se consigue atrapar hasta al observador más reacio a acercarse al teatro.
